Introduction

The Department of Marketing Management was established with the vision of contributing to Taiwan's national economic development and the long-term development plans of Shu-Te University. The department aims to cultivate professionals who are equipped with specialized academic and theoretical training which allows them to actively contribute to the development of the international market.

In 2006, the Department of Marketing Management was first composed of three professional modules (marketing planning, digital marketing, and integrated marketing) courses for a four-year program. In further response to government policies in promoting and upgrading industries involved in commercial marketing and branding, the department set up a graduate program in 2006 to train more professional managers involved in marketing management.

The first batch of foreign students graduated in June, 2010. In the same year, two more graduate programs for foreigners were established: one at SHU-TE University and the other in Vietnam. More classes will be opened in Vietnam in the near future.

Beginning from 2013, the department has integrated one undergraduate program: servise industrial marketing. Students may choose the program that suits their interests and ability to develop skills and knowledge needed for this fast-moving society.
